WiSA, Role in the System & Combination with other Ace Wireless Speakers

The Ace Center Wireless is an active WiSA center speaker and always operates as a receiver (Rx). It has its own amplifier on board and receives the audio signal wirelessly from a WiSA transmitter – for example, a WiSA-enabled TV or a separate WiSA hub. In a wireless home theater setup, it thus forms the center heart between two Ace 30 Wireless or Ace 50 Wireless speakers. While in stereo setups a Tx speaker (e.g., Ace 30/50 Wireless Tx) distributes music to one or more Rx speakers, a pure multichannel home theater with WiSA consists exclusively of Rx speakers – here, the TV or the WiSA hub takes on the transmitter role. You simply connect the Ace Center Wireless to the power supply, assign it the center position in the WiSA menu, and combine it as needed with Ace 30/50 Wireless speakers as front and surround channels to build a fully active, wireless 5.1 or 7.1 system.

Visually and acoustically, the Ace Center Wireless is precisely matched to the Ace 30 Wireless and Ace 50 Wireless. This creates a cohesive sound image that fills the room evenly and harmoniously – especially important in surround configurations.
