• IP66 certified - As expected, outdoor use can get a little wild - or cold. That's why the CL2 S and CL2 M are not only tested against extremely high and low temperatures, but also completely dustproof and immune to water jets from all directions. Whether heavy rain, snow or desert dust, they play and play and play.

• 180° swivel - Thanks to the clever Quik-Link aluminum bracket, the loudspeakers can not only be mounted horizontally or vertically in just a few steps, but also aligned to the desired listening position.

• Really well equipped - With the driver technology from the Monitor Audio Silver 7G series, both loudspeakers make it clear that it's not just about "sound reinforcement" on the balcony, terrace or in the garden, but that you can also listen to music "seriously" with them.

• Integrated passive radiator - Although the enclosures are small, the bass is surprisingly mature, crisp and contoured thanks to the passive radiator on the back of the loudspeaker.

Don't go crazy - just turn the speaker

If we had to describe the new Monitor Audio Climate 3G series in one word, it would be: "Flexibility".
You can use the loudspeaker both indoors and outdoors, the loudspeakers can be mounted both horizontally and vertically and can also be rotated in eight steps (11.25° each) by a maximum of 90° each (180° in total) and aligned to the listening position.

Driver technology from the Monitor Audio Silver 7G series - With a clever twist

Both the 25-millimeter C-CAM gold tweeter and the 4" or 6" RST II bass/midrange drivers correspond in terms of sound quality to the popular Monitor Audio Silver 7G series.
The twist, however, is that the tweeter is colored black and thus perfectly matches the also black bass/midrange drivers, and is also much less conspicuous than the regular gold version, which would shimmer through the grille.

A beautiful back can also delight - Or provide really deep bass

For deep and crisp bass, a bass reflex concept is a fantastic idea. Unless the loudspeaker is an outdoor loudspeaker that also has to withstand wind and weather.
Then comes the hour of the ABR - the Auxiliary Bass Radiator. Or quite simply: a passive radiator that supports the active bass/midrange driver in the bass and still keeps the enclosure absolutely dust- and waterproof.
The hex pattern embossed on the membrane is not only for decoration, but further reinforces and strengthens the membrane and ensures that it remains stable even at high levels and deep bass and plays cleanly.

Cannot be put under pressure - Because the housing has a "valve"

When the Climate 3G loudspeakers are mounted outdoors, they are exposed to heat and cold. Depending on the temperature, the air pressure in the enclosure also changes - and thus the sound of the loudspeakers. For example, under direct sunlight, the air pressure in the enclosure rises, which also increases the pressure on the bass/midrange membrane from the inside.

And that's why a "valve" is built into the loudspeakers to equalize the pressure in the enclosure. This allows the enclosure or the internal pressure to adapt perfectly to the ambient conditions and deliver excellent sound under all conditions.
