The DMP-A6 combines network streaming and high-quality
D/A conversion in one device: local music (SSD/USB/NAS) and
integrated streaming services are centrally managed and played back
directly.
Fully Balanced Preamp &
Dual-DAC Architecture
Two ES9038Q2M DACs operate channel-separated
(left/right) and aim to minimize interference between channels. The
analog output stage is fully balanced and offers XLR (balanced)
as well as RCA (Pre-Out) for connection to active speakers, pre/power amplifiers
or power amps.
Precision in Clocking, Signal Processing
and Power Supply
An XMOS XU316 audio processor is designed for
high-resolution USB audio data, additionally, dual-clock concepts
and a power supply designed for low interference are positioned
as central components for clean playback.
Streaming Comfort & Wireless
Playback
Supported features include Roon Ready, Tidal Connect,
Spotify Connect, DLNA/UPnP/WebDAV as well as AirPlay/AirPlay 2 (depending on
platform/implementation). For fast playback without a network, Bluetooth
5.0 with SBC/AAC/aptX/aptX LL/aptX HD/LDAC is integrated.
Local
Library & Media Management
The music library
categorizes content (e.g., by title, artist, album) and includes
file management for copying, pasting, and deleting on local/external
storage as well as SMB/NFS on the network. Additionally, SMB sharing is
provided as part of the local media ecosystem.
CD Playback and
Ripping via USB Drive
With an external USB CD-ROM,
CD playback and CD ripping can be utilized; the ripping workflow is
directly provided in the system/via app and can select the storage location
(local/SSD/USB/SMB/NFS).
Storage Expandable via M.2
NVMe
An internal M.2 slot (NVMe PCIe 3.0, 2280)
allows for expansion to a local music center; supported file systems: NTFS/EXFAT/FAT32. An SSD can
be obtained upon request. For maximum SSD capacity, we recommend 2 TB or 4
TB.

6.0" LCD touchscreen, a volume rotary knob (incl.
