Denon Home Amp as a streaming amplifier for existing loudspeakers

The Denon Home Amp is a streaming amplifier for operating a pair of loudspeakers in different living areas. It is suitable for ceiling, wall, outdoor, or compact loudspeakers and is designed to combine music streaming, TV sound, and multiroom functions in one compact device. With 100 watts per channel at 8 ohms, it offers powerful amplification for many home loudspeaker applications.

HEOS® Built-in for multiroom and central control

A central feature of the Denon Home Amp is HEOS® Built-in. This allows the device to be combined with other HEOS-enabled products and managed via the HEOS app. This means the same music can be played synchronously in multiple rooms, or a different source can be selected for each room. The system supports the integration of up to 32 HEOS devices, making the Denon Home Amp particularly attractive for existing or expandable multiroom setups.

TV sound, subwoofer, and flexible audio integration

In addition to music playback, the Denon Home Amp is also designed for integration into a TV setup. The HDMI eARC/ARC connection allows TV sound to be played through connected loudspeakers; alternatively, an optical input is available. There is also a subwoofer output, which, together with adjustable high-pass and low-pass filters, allows for targeted bass extension. This combination sets the Denon Home Amp apart from many pure streaming solutions, because existing loudspeakers, TVs, and an active subwoofer can be integrated into a common system.

Streaming, sources, and high-resolution playback

For music playback, the Denon Home Amp supports AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, Spotify Connect, and Roon Ready, among others. Music can also be played via USB storage devices, network shares, DLNA, analog sources, and digital inputs. In the Hi-Res Audio domain, the device processes WAV, ALAC, and FLAC up to 24-bit/192 kHz, as well as DSD at 2.8 MHz and 5.6 MHz. Thus, the streaming amplifier combines a wide variety of sources with features clearly designed for networked listening.
