The P-80 optimally processes both analog and digital sources and passes the signal on to your power amplifier(s). Whether turntable, CD player, or streaming service: You control everything centrally and benefit from clean, finely resolved playback – including two independent subwoofer outputs for powerful bass.

Sound & Technology

The core of the P-80 is the DIDRC circuitry (Dynamic Intermodulation Distortion Reduction Circuitry), which reduces high-frequency noise and thus enables a natural, "analog" sound experience. A high-quality 32-bit/768-kHz DAC, discrete phono amplification (MM and MC), and a low-vibration aluminum/steel chassis form the technical basis for distortion-free, dynamic music reproduction.

Streaming & Networking

Stream directly via Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Amazon Music, TuneIn – or wirelessly via AirPlay 2 and Chromecast. Roon Ready support as well as WLAN, LAN, and Bluetooth (SBC, aptX, aptX HD) ensure maximum flexibility.

Connections & Operation

On board are 3× RCA line inputs, Phono MM/MC, Coax, Optical, HDMI-ARC, USB-A (playback), headphone (6.3 mm), Pre-Out (RCA & XLR), 2× Subwoofer Pre-Out and 12-V Trigger-Out. Tone controls (bass/treble) and the Onkyo Controller app facilitate adaptation to room, speakers, and taste.

Room & Setup

With the integrated Dirac Live Room Correction (frequency response correction 500 Hz–20 kHz; full version optional), the P-80 adapts the sound to your listening room. Optionally, it supports Dirac Live Bass Control – ideal in combination with the two subwoofer outputs.
