Description
Tube integrated amplifier for high-quality 2-channel systems
The McIntosh MA2375 AC is designed as a tube integrated amplifier for 2-channel Hi-Fi systems. It combines a tube preamplifier and a tube power amplifier in one chassis, maintaining a completely analog design. This means that the MA2375 processes incoming audio signals without digital signal processing. Analog sources can be connected directly. For digital sources or streamers without analog outputs, an upstream D/A converter is required. This makes it particularly suitable for systems where musical directness, high-quality craftsmanship, and a consciously reduced signal path are paramount.
Variety of analog connections including phono
Multiple inputs are available for analog sources, including balanced and unbalanced connections, as well as a configurable phono input for Moving Magnet and Moving Coil cartridges. This allows turntables to be integrated directly. The features are complemented by a subwoofer output and a preamplifier output for extended system concepts.
Sound tuning according to room and taste
The integrated analog equalizer enables precise sound adjustment. This allows playback to be adapted to the room, speakers, and personal listening habits, without sacrificing the amplifier's analog character. For headphone use, a High-Drive headphone amplifier with Headphone Crossfeed Director is available.
Protection technology for the tubes
The MA2375 AC uses Power Guard Screen Grid Sensor and Sentry Monitor. These protection circuits monitor operation and help protect tubes and the amplifier.
Operating options
Operation is done directly on the device via the input selector, volume control, and tone controls on the front. The information display shows input, volume, and trim and setup menus. A remote control is also included. For integration into larger systems, Power Control, Data Ports, Home Theater PassThru, an external IR input, and RS232 control are available, among other features.
Design with clear McIntosh signature
The polished stainless steel chassis, visible tubes, and blue Power Meters characterize the appearance of the MA2375 AC. The amplifier thus appears not only technically high-quality but also deliberately classic. The design makes it a visible centerpiece of a sophisticated Hi-Fi system.
