The Miracord 60 was developed to continue the tradition of ELAC turntables and to offer discerning listeners accurate music reproduction in a timeless design.

Lightweight tonearm for maximum detail accuracy

The gimbal-mounted carbon fiber tonearm is characterized by its extreme rigidity combined with low weight. This construction minimizes unwanted resonances and allows the tonearm to glide with low friction, thus preserving the finest musical details.

Solid construction against vibrations

The anti-resonance chassis consists of a 50 mm thick MDF block, which has high internal damping. This is supplemented by a 22 mm thick die-cast aluminum platter, whose high mass ensures smooth running and effectively suppresses disturbing vibrations.

Intelligent speed control

An integrated optical sensor constantly measures the speed of the platter and transmits the data to a microcontroller. This closed control loop corrects the motor speed up to 500 times per second, which reduces wow and flutter values to a minimum.

Flexibility in cartridge selection

Thanks to the interchangeable headshell, the Miracord 60 offers high flexibility in the selection of the phono cartridge system. This allows the device to be individually adapted to sonic preferences.

The Elac Miracord D96 is a precise Moving Magnet (MM) stereo phono cartridge, which, with its elliptical stylus and high-quality aluminum cantilever, ensures a particularly detailed and unadulterated sound image. Originally developed for the Miracord 60/80 models, it offers excellent performance on numerous turntables thanks to its standard mounting.

The Miracord D96 serves as the link between the record and the audio system and is responsible for converting the fine nuances of the grooves into electrical signals. It was designed to enable authentic reproduction with high detail accuracy.

Optimized for Elac Miracord and beyond

Specifically developed for the Elac Miracord 60 and 80 models, this phono cartridge guarantees perfect tuning within the Miracord series. Thanks to its standard mounting options, however, it is not limited to these devices, but can be flexibly mounted on many turntables from other brands.

Rich detail through elliptical cut

The stylus features an elliptical cut that penetrates deeper and more precisely into the record groove than conventional cuts. The result is scanning with minimized distortion and an impressive richness of sonic details.

Stability and durability

An aluminum cantilever forms the backbone of the system. This material combines lightness with the necessary rigidity to precisely transmit the movements of the stylus. In addition, the two-year warranty underlines the quality standard of this HiFi component developed in Germany.
