The Miracord 80 turntable combines milled solid wood components and modern accents. The chassis is available in either high-gloss black or with a walnut real wood veneer, complemented by brushed, anodized aluminum bezels. This design not only provides a noble appearance but also forms the low-resonance base for the entire system.
Maximum smooth running through heavy mass
The main protagonist of the turntable is the mass drive. The 5.6 kg heavy and 30 mm thick aluminum platter provides the necessary inertia for stable speed. This is supported by a servo-controlled DC motor with optically controlled speed regulation and PID controller, which immediately compensates for the smallest fluctuations.
Precise scanning with carbon fiber technology
The integrated 10-inch tonearm is made of ultra-stiff carbon fiber material and features gimbal bearing. The special geometry minimizes the inherent tracking error, which leads to lower distortion and precise stereo imaging. Thanks to the screwable headshell, the system remains flexible for changing cartridges.
Effective decoupling and flexible options
The belt drive ensures mechanical decoupling between the motor and the platter, minimizing disruptive vibrations. For users who want to further enhance the sound experience, the Miracord 80 offers a special connection for external upgrade power supplies.
