Flexible Bass Reflex Tuning

The PB-5000 R|Evolution can be operated with open or sealed ports. 3 bass reflex port plugs are included in the scope of delivery. Standard mode, extended mode and sealed mode allow different emphases in terms of depth, level and bass character.

15-inch Driver with High Excursion

The front-firing 15-inch long-throw driver was designed for high air movement and precise control. The dual voice coil, large ferrite magnet motor and robust suspension support powerful low-frequency reproduction even at high levels.

Class-D Amplifier STA-2000D

The Class-D amplifier STA-2000D was installed in the device. The dual-monoblock design supplies the voice coils separately and ensures high control.

DSP Control for Precise Adjustment

A DSP from Analog Devices controls central functions of the subwoofer. These include volume, low-pass filter, phase, polarity, parametric equalizers, room gain compensation, tuning modes and power management.

SVS App for Easy Operation

The SVS Subwoofer Control App is compatible with Apple iOS, Google Android and Amazon Fire. Many settings can be conveniently adjusted via smartphone, without having to work directly on the subwoofer.

OLED Display and Direct Control

On the back of the amplifier is an OLED display with a user interface. Important functions can be controlled directly on the device, and a display flip function is also available.

Three Presets for Different Uses

Three memory slots allow quick adjustments for different listening situations. For example, the subwoofer can be set up differently for movies, music or personal listening preferences.

Robust Enclosure for Controlled Reproduction

The MDF enclosure has internal bracing and is designed for low-resonance reproduction at high volumes. The extra-thick ABS grille frame with fabric covering protects the driver from damage.

Stable Stand and Reduced Noise Artifacts

Screwed-in Iso-Elastomer feet improve the stability of the subwoofer. At the same time, they are intended to reduce noise artifacts that can arise from vibrations during operation.

Connections and System Integration

The subwoofer offers unbalanced RCA inputs, balanced XLR inputs, a 3.5mm trigger input and a 3.5mm IR input. This allows the PB-5000 R|Evolution to be flexibly integrated into home theater, stereo and control systems .
