HiFi Rose RW800 – Streaming expansion and network player in one

The HiFi Rose RW800 is a compact streaming component for HiFi systems. It can expand existing HiFi Rose streamers or be used as a standalone network player with an amplifier, external DAC, or active speakers.

Two operating modes for different systems

In expansion mode, the RW800 is connected via USB-C to a compatible HiFi Rose device. It then takes over the streaming expansion and transmits playback information such as album cover, title, and playback status to the display of the connected Rose device. In standalone mode, the RW800 operates independently and can be combined with HiFi components such as active speakers or external D/A converters from various manufacturers.

Comfortably use current streaming platforms

The RW800 supports Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, Spotify Connect, Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, DLNA/UPnP, Bluetooth, and Roon Ready, among others.

Control via the ROSE AIR App

Setup and control are done via the ROSE AIR app for Android and iOS. The app detects the device via Bluetooth, supports Wi-Fi setup, and provides access to playback, device settings, updates, and factory reset.

Connections for flexible setups

On the rear panel, there are USB-C, Ethernet, an optical input, an optical output, and an analog RCA output. This allows the RW800 to be integrated into both digital and analog systems. Our recommendation: In standalone mode, check in advance whether the appropriate input on the amplifier, DAC, or active speakers is free.

Compact design for the HiFi rack

The black housing is deliberately space-saving and blends inconspicuously into its surroundings. The indirect LED display on the underside shows the operating status without visually distracting from the music listening experience.
