Inspired by the cultural explosion of the 80s and Monitor Audio’s legendary Studio series, the Studio 89 is a thoroughly modern loudspeaker. Inspired by individual expression and the culture that shapes it, the Studio 89 is the loudspeaker for the new generation of creators.
The Studio 89 is an elegant compact speaker model that incorporates many of the advanced acoustic technologies from Monitor Audio’s Platinum 3G series and their flagship speaker, the Hyphn. Two powerful 4 ¼" / 10.8 centimetre RDT III bass/mid-range drivers provide punchy, precise and textured bass that seamlessly blends with the MPD III tweeter. This sound package delivers a unique sound with its exceptional clarity in the high frequencies and superb precision in the bass and mid-range.
The Studio 89 cabinet is finished in deep gloss black with gold-coloured drivers. This is a reference to the legendary Monitor Audio Studio 15, which was the only model in the original Studio series to be produced in this stylish colour combination.
The Studio 89 delivers stunningly realistic sound from a beautifully crafted, compact box.
