The TDAI-3400 amplification is 100% digital, with no sound-degrading digital-to-analog conversion. The digital signal drives the loudspeakers directly. This unique and technically sophisticated solution eliminates several analog components and signal paths that are a major source of noise, hiss, crosstalk, and distortion in conventional amplifiers. TDAI amplifiers provide the best sound quality at all volumes and deliver the most pleasant and uncolored sound you have ever experienced.

Connect Audio and Video Sources

A variety of inputs and outputs offer many options to connect your audio and video sources: Seven digital inputs, including optical, coax, AES/EBU, USB-B, USB-A, two RCA analog inputs for analog music sources, an optional analog module for more analog inputs, including XLR and Phono MM, and an optional HDMI 2.1 module.

Built-in Media Player

The TDAI-3400 accepts all media interfaces and features an integrated media player with the highest playback quality. Via your local network or via the USB ports, you can access your entire music library via the DLNA/UPnP-enabled player. This media player also enables music streaming with Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, and AirPlay 2, as well as internet radio. The TDAI-3400 also supports TIDAL Connect, which allows for lossless audio quality with the TIDAL app as a controller, and it includes the MQA Core Decoder, which unfolds the MQA file once to deliver better-than-CD quality. MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) is an award-winning British technology that delivers the sound of the original master recording.

Customize Your Setup and Sound

Via the web interface, you can perform all setup and operations from the menu system, with which you can tailor your setup and sound, and the digital crossover allows for 3 individual output settings. With our proprietary RoomPerfectTM room correction software to eliminate the negative influence of the listening room, the TDAI-3400 delivers perfect sound without extensive room treatment.

HDMI 2.1 Input/Output Module

The HDMI 2.1 module allows for the greater contrast and greater detail resolution that HDMI 2.1 supports to pass through, up to 8K 50/60Hz and 4K 100/120 Hz. It also supports TVs with the latest Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) and CEC. The HDMI 2.1 Module can be ordered with a new TDAI-3400 or fitted to an existing TDAI-3400. It provides two HDMI inputs that support audio up to 192kHz/24 bit and one HDMI in/out with eARC/ARC.

High-End Analog Input Module

The High-End Analog Input Module is designed to support all high-quality analog sources and includes a dedicated input with RIAA compensation. The module includes four analog inputs – 1 phono (RIAA, MM), 2 RCA unbalanced inputs, and 1 XLR balanced input. You can increase the sensitivity of each input by up to 24 dB, of which the first 6 dB of gain is handled via gold-plated relays to fully utilize the headroom of the analog-to-digital converter.
