Diamond-Coated Tweeter for Clear Treble

The 1-inch diamond-coated tweeter features an aluminum dome and an FEA-optimized diffuser. This is designed to reproduce high frequencies airily, authentically, and clearly.

The 6.5-inch mid-woofer utilizes a composite glass fiber cone with a high stiffness-to-mass ratio.

Time-Aligned Cabinet Geometry

The cabinet shape is time-aligned so that the drivers arrive acoustically as uniformly as possible at the listening position. This supports more precise imaging, clean localization, and a harmonious interplay of treble and bass.

Room Placement and Distance to Wall

Due to the rear bass reflex ports, we recommend a minimum distance from the wall of 15–30 cm.

More distance to walls can improve stereo imaging and spaciousness by reducing early reflections. For the front speakers, a starting point of about 30 degrees to the left and right of the listening position is recommended, totaling an angle of around 60 degrees.

A slight toe-in towards the listening position can focus the sound image. The speaker is suitable for speaker stands and other surfaces; included adhesive elastomer feet protect the standing surface.

Connection to Amplifiers and AV Receivers

The gold-plated 5-way binding posts accept banana plugs, pins, spade lugs, and bare speaker wires. Conventional wiring, bi-wiring, and bi-amping are supported.

Design and Finish

Removable front grilles are also included. These are held magnetically.
