BLE app control with ELAC Sub Control 3.0 and digital control system

The Varro PS350 is an active subwoofer with BLE app control for iOS and Android. Instead of classic analog controls, the model works with a digital control system, allowing convenient control via the ELAC Sub Control 3.0 app.

Simultaneous control of multiple subwoofers

The app allows not only the control of a single subwoofer but also the simultaneous operation of multiple devices. This makes the Varro PS350 particularly interesting for setups where a more even bass distribution in the room is desired.

Auto Room EQ via smartphone microphone

Automatic room equalization uses the smartphone's microphone and independently adjusts the room correction. This allows for greater freedom in placement if, for example, the ideal position in the room is not feasible visually or practically.

Dual-Core 28-bit DSP with 147 MHz master clock

The Varro PS350 features a dual-core 28-bit DSP with a 147 MHz master clock. It processes the audio signal with high accuracy and low latency.

350/700-watt BASH power amplifier

BASH amplifier technology combines high power with efficient operation. The power supply follows the incoming signal, which means little power is converted into heat and high dynamic reserves remain available.

12-inch long-throw driver with 2-inch voice coil

The Varro PS350 uses a 12-inch or 300mm driver. The large 2-inch voice coil is designed for high power handling and good thermal management and supports a high maximum sound pressure level.

Treated paper cone

The cone is made of treated paper. This material is lightweight and treated to improve stiffness, resilience, and resistance to temperature and humidity effects.

30mm MDF enclosure with internal bracing

The enclosure features a 30mm wall thickness and internal bracing. This construction is acoustically optimized to reduce unwanted enclosure resonances.

Acoustic internal damping for resonance reduction

For further damping, acoustic internal damping and polyester wool are used. This construction also serves to reduce unwanted resonances in the enclosure.

Phase and Delay adjustment

Phase and delay functions are available for fine-tuning during setup. They help to more precisely compensate for placement problems in the room.

USB firmware update function

Firmware updates can be installed via the USB port on the back.

Standby consumption under 0.5 watts

Standby power consumption is less than 0.5 watts, keeping energy consumption low in standby mode.

Grille frame and spikes included

The scope of delivery includes a grille frame and spikes. A power cable is also included.
