The Vela line combines over 95 years of
acoustic expertise with a distinctive cabinet design. High-gloss lacquered or
real wood veneered surfaces and the trapezoidal cross-section create visual
accents while also providing acoustic advantages. The line builds on the
successful 400 series and is tuned for improved imaging in stereo
and multi-channel operation.
JET 6 Tweeter:
AMT Precision Beyond 50 kHz
The JET 6 is an Air Motion
Transformer (AMT), developed and manufactured in Kiel, Germany. The extended
frequency range beyond 50 kHz, low distortion, and high clarity in the
upper treble support a finely resolved, dynamic reproduction. The fast
impulse response and high power handling reserves position the
JET tweeter as a recognized driver in the audio industry.
AS-XR Crystal Diaphragm: Clean Bass Without
Unwanted Resonances
Two 180mm AS-XR woofers feature an
aluminum sandwich construction offering high stiffness and internal
damping. The crystal structure of the aluminum cone increases
torsional rigidity, while the extended frequency range ensures a smooth
roll-off. The concept is designed for precise, controlled operation without
unwanted resonances or distortion – including excellent
large-signal behavior and a small VAS for plenty of bass from small
enclosures.
Down-firing Bass Reflex: Flexible Placement,
Reduced Ventilation Noise
The bass reflex port fires
downwards. This orientation is designed to reduce ventilation noise
and provide more flexibility in placement. The concept is complemented
by a cast aluminum base plate with an integrated,
doubly rounded, downward-firing bass reflex tube.
Optimized Dispersion and
Connection Options
A convex baffle curvature minimizes
baffle reflections. Bi-wiring is
possible for integration into your setup.
