WiiM Vibelink Amp

The WiiM Vibelink Amp is a purist Hi-Fi amplifier for anyone looking to build a three-part audio setup. It does not have its own streaming module, but rather forms the powerful sonic bridge between an external source (e.g., streamer, TV, or CD player) and passive speakers. The device focuses entirely on the essentials: precise signal processing, powerful amplification, and simple operation at an affordable price.

Powerful performance for passive speakers

With 100 watts per channel at 8 ohms and 200 watts per channel at 4 ohms, the WiiM Vibelink Amp offers plenty of reserves for passive speakers. It is suitable for passive speakers with 3–8 ohms. The speaker outputs are designed as gold-plated connectors for banana plugs; suitable banana plugs are included.

Flexible connection of digital and analog sources

An optical and a coaxial digital input are available for digital sources. Both support stereo PCM up to 192 kHz/24 bit. Additionally, there is an analog RCA input that works without analog-to-digital conversion. This is particularly interesting if an analog source is to remain as direct as possible in the signal path.

Subwoofer integration only with additional solution

A direct subwoofer output is not provided on the WiiM Vibelink Amp. If you want to integrate a subwoofer, you should carefully check your setup before purchasing. Our recommendation: For setups with a subwoofer, integration should be planned via a suitable external solution or via an upstream source with a corresponding connection option.

Pure amplifier instead of an overloaded all-in-one device

The WiiM Vibelink Amp does not come with integrated music streaming via Bluetooth or WLAN. Bluetooth and WLAN are used for control and updates, not for music playback. This is precisely why the amplifier is particularly suitable as a complement to a WiiM Mini, Pro, Pro Plus, or Ultra, as well as other sources with RCA, optical, or coaxial outputs.

Operation directly on the device

Operation remains deliberately simple: volume control, input selection, and on/off switch are on the device. An LED indicates the input mode and device status. A remote control is not included. The volume control can be switched off, allowing the volume to be controlled via a connected streamer or an optional preamplifier.

Our recommendation for WiiM Streamers

Our recommendation for the WiiM Vibelink Amp is especially relevant if a WiiM Streamer is already present or if a separate, flexibly interchangeable setup is to be built. In combination with a WiiM Ultra, a separate system of streamer/preamplifier and amplifier is created. The advantage: If a new streamer is desired later, the amplifier can continue to be used.

PFFB technology for constant playback

Class D amplification works with PFFB technology, i.e., Post-Filter Feedback. This technique dynamically compensates for load changes of various speakers and is designed to minimize distortion.

High-quality components in a compact housing

The housing is made of anodized unibody aluminum. With a footprint of 20 × 20 cm, the WiiM Vibelink Amp easily finds its place on sideboards, shelves, or desks.
